CODE OF CONDUCT
Urban Wellness Project therapists:
Conduct themselves ethically and professionally at all times.
Render their professional services in accordance with holistic principles for the benefit and wellbeing of clients.
Do no harm to clients.
Maintain current professional knowledge, skills and attributes through continuing professional education.
Respect a client’s autonomy, needs, values, culture and vulnerability in the provision of natural medicine.
Accept the rights of clients and encourage them to make informed choices in relation to their healthcare.
Recognise the limitations of the treatment they can provide and refer clients to other appropriate healthcare professionals when necessary.
Treat clients with respect, and do not engage in any form of exploitation whether financial, physical, sexual, emotional, religious or for any other reason.
Have an understanding of any adverse interactions between the therapies and/or treatment provided and prescribed or any other medications or treatment the client is taking or receiving.
Treat within their scope of practice.
Behave with courtesy, respect, dignity and discretion towards the client, at all times respecting the diversity of individuals and honouring the trust in the therapeutic relationship.
Shall declare any conflict of interest or bias to the client, whether the conflict or bias is actual or potential, financial or personal.
PRIVACY POLICY
Urban Wellness Project (“we/us”) recognises the importance of your privacy, and that you have a right to control how your personal information is collected and used. We know that providing personal information is an act of trust and we take that seriously. Unless you directly give us consent to do otherwise, we will only collect and use your personal information as set out below. Our privacy policy is intended to represent industry best practice and comply fully with the Privacy Act 1988.

COLLECTING INFORMATION ABOUT YOU
Personal Information that can be used to identify you as an individual. The type of information we collect from you depends on how you use our website.
DISCLOSING INFORMATION
We do not disclose personal information to any third-party companies or advertisers. You’ll be notified if this policy changes in the future. In order to operate the website or deliver a service we may sometimes share your personal information with a service partner. We will not otherwise disclose your personal information to other companies without your explicit consent.
ACCESS TO INFORMATION
If at any time you want to know exactly what personal information we hold about you, you are welcome to access your record by e-mailing us at hello@urbanwellnessproject.com.au This information will be made available to you within 10 business days.
CHANGING AND DELETING INFORMATION WE HOLD
If at any time you wish to change personal information that is inaccurate or out of date, please contact us by e-mailing us at hello@urbanwellnessproject.com.au and we will amend this record. If you have an account with us you may also update the relevant information through your account.
If you wish to have your personal information deleted, please email us at hello@urbanwellnessproject.com.au and we will take all reasonable steps to delete it unless we need to keep it for legal reasons.
STORAGE OF YOUR INFORMATION
We will endeavour to take all reasonable steps to keep secure any information which we hold about you, and to keep this information accurate and up to date. Your information is stored on secure servers that are protected in controlled facilities. We require our employees and data processors to respect the confidentiality of any personal information held by us.

When you visit urbanwellnessproject.com.au our servers along with Google Analytics and other third-party programs track and record information that your browser sends. This data may include; your IP address, pages viewed, product viewed, referring sites, time spent on site, product purchase information and other statistics relating to browsing behaviours.
Cookies are used to provide functionality and to recognise you across different services and devices. They enable us to identify you and personalize and enhance your experience.

We collect data from our customers, including personal information which we may use this data to generate reports, statistics, and other data, and to which we retain all intellectual property rights. You grant to us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to aggregate that data with other data, including from other customers, as long as it is an anonymized and you and your customers or any relevant individual, company or organisation cannot be identified. Please note the section on Cookies above which details the limited circumstances in which your Personal Information may be aggregated and used in connection with your identity. You also grant us a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free licence to use, modify, distribute and create derivative works based on the aggregated data including all reports, statistics or analyses created or derived from it and the right to access the aggregated data to provide you with feedback concerning your use of our services. In undertaking this process we comply with, and your rights are protected by, the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
BOOKING ENQUIRES
When you contact us, we may need the following information from you: name, how you found us and contact information such as phone number and email address.
We may contact you at the email, other address or phone numbers which you provide to us in order to:
- Book a clinic session for you
- Provide you with updated information about our products and services which you may be relevant to you.
PROMOTIONAL EMAILS
If you are receiving promotional information and do not wish to receive this information any longer, you may remove your name from our list either by clicking the unsubscribe button at the bottom of a promotional email or e-mailing us at hello@urbanwellnessproject.com.au and asking to be removed from our mailing list. Please allow 48 hours for this request to be processed.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
Whilst all reasonable care is taken, some therapies carried out at Urban Wellness Project entail inherent risks. Patients are made aware of these risks, and assume the risk and responsibility.
MEDICAL CONDITION DISCLOSURE
We request that existing medical conditions be declared, which may exclude some patients from some therapies. If you have a serious medical condition or are taking pharmaceuticals, we recommend you check in with your doctor as to the suitability of the therapy of choice.
INJURY
When an injury occurs at Urban Wellness Project, staff will provide First Aid as necessary and appropriate. An ambulance will be called if required, and an incident report will be completed. Urban Wellness Project is not liable for any costs incurred in obtaining such emergency medical attention, including ambulance fees.
RETURN AND REFUND POLICY
We comply with all aspects of Australian Consumer Law. We are not required to provide a refund or replacement for products if you change your mind, however you can choose a refund or replacement if the product you purchased has a Major problem as defined by Consumer Affairs Victoria.
